Returns & Exchanges
We want you to love every Good American item you purchase. If you’re not completely satisfied, we offer a straightforward returns and exchanges process within 15 days of receiving your order.
Return & Exchange Policy Overview
- Return Window: 15 days from delivery date
- Condition: Items must be unworn, unwashed, with tags attached, and in original packaging
- Refund Method: Original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, PayPal)
- Return Shipping: Customer’s responsibility unless due to our error
Step-by-Step Return Process
1. Initiate Your Request
Contact our customer service team within 15 days of receiving your order. Email us at [email protected] with your order details and reason for return/exchange.
2. Wait for Approval
Our team will review your request and respond within 1-2 business days with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and instructions. Do not send items without an RMA number as we cannot process unauthorized returns.
3. Package Your Items
Securely pack the items in original packaging with all tags and labels. Include a copy of your order confirmation or the RMA email inside the package.
4. Ship Your Return
Send your package to our returns address using a trackable shipping method:

5. Confirmation & Processing
Once we receive and inspect your return, we’ll process your refund or exchange within 5-7 business days. You’ll receive an email confirmation when complete.
Non-Returnable Items
For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged:
- Swimwear: All items from Always Fits Swim and Black Swim collections, including bikini tops and bottoms
- Bodysuits: All items from the Bodysuits category
- Bandeau Tops: All bandeau styles from our swim and intimate wear lines
Please double-check your selections when ordering these items. If you receive a defective product in these categories, contact us immediately for assistance.

Refunds typically appear in your account within 7-10 business days after processing, depending on your bank or payment provider.
Payment Methods
We support refunds to all original payment methods including Visa, MasterCard, JCB, and PayPal. Shipping fees are non-refundable for returns that are not due to our error.
Exchanges
For exchanges, we’ll ship the new item once we receive and approve your return. Exchange shipping is free if your original order qualified for free shipping; otherwise, standard shipping rates apply.
